    Jenna practices in the area of litigation, focusing on complex commercial disputes. She represents businesses and individuals in a wide range of federal and state court cases, including contractual disputes, fraud, complex personal-injury claims, property disputes, and white-collar criminal matters. Jenna also represents companies and individuals in internal and government investigations.

    Prior to joining Miller & Martin, Jenna served a two-year term as a law clerk for the Honorable Travis R. McDonough in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee.

  • Experience

    • Obtained summary judgment in federal court in favor of industrial manufacturer in negligence claim.
    • Assisted in legal response to industrial accident at client facility. Crisis management efforts included conducting internal investigation, consulting with in-house and outside legal team, preparing employees for interviews with regulators, and advising management regarding legal issues relating to incident and continuing operations.
    • Obtained declaratory judgment in favor of property owners finding zoning ordinance allowing improper development invalid.
    • Represented contractor in federal Clean Water Act criminal investigation arising from industrial fuel spill in the Tennessee River. No charges were filed.
    • Successfully defended an overpayment claim by TennCare against a healthcare facility.
    • Obtained a successful result in pro bono appeal in Tennessee Court of Appeals.
