Attorney Eileen Rumfelt recently authored an article titled "Bring Your Own . . . Fingerprint?" for the Criminal Litigation section of the American Bar Association in April 2017.

In the article, Rumfelt notes that as smartphones become increasingly complicated, so do the legal implications as many companies allow their employees to access company data from their personal phones. She states that these blurred lines between the corporate and personal can raise interesting questions about whether and how the government can access these devices as part of a government investigation.
